Expedition Engine Guard by Touratech

Large aluminium engine guard designed for the Honda CRF1100L. It protects the lower engine and sensitive components by distributing impacts thanks to a reinforced construction. The plastic rails facilitate overcoming obstacles and limit mud accumulation.

Design and Materials

• 4 mm aluminium base plate with machined recesses ensuring increased stability to better absorb impacts
• Stainless steel mounting plate distributing shock forces over 6 mounting points to reduce localized stress on the engine
• Plastic rails covering the screw heads to protect the fastenings and facilitate sliding over stones and roots

Usage and Performance

• Raised front section protecting the oil filter to reduce the risk of damage during obstacles
• Reinforced protection of the lower engine designed to limit significant damage such as engine block punctures in off-road conditions
