Expedition Engine Guard - Black by Touratech

Large engine guard in black finish designed to protect the lower engine of the Yamaha Ténéré 700. A 4 mm aluminium base plate and a 4 mm stainless steel mounting plate ensure shock distribution. This guard aims to limit significant damage during off-road use while maintaining access to the underside of the bike.

Design and Materials

• 4 mm aluminium base plate with machined recesses providing excellent stability for riding on uneven terrain
• 4 mm stainless steel mounting plate under the guard distributing shock forces across 9 mounting points to limit stress concentrations
• Two-plate construction distributing mechanical stresses to protect the lower engine during impacts

Usage and Performance

• Designed to effectively prevent major damage such as holes in the engine block to maintain mechanical integrity in the event of an impact
• Suitable for off-road use of the Yamaha Ténéré 700 from 2021 onwards in Euro5 version to match the specifications of this model
