Engine Guard by Touratech

Large Touratech engine guard designed for the HONDA CRF1000L, combining a thick aluminium base plate and a stainless steel mounting plate for enhanced protection of the engine's lower section. The design extends forward to cover the oil filter and oil cooler, with plastic rails facilitating obstacle clearance while minimising mud accumulation.

Design and Materials

• 4 mm thick aluminium base plate providing a robust surface to limit deformation during impacts and protect the engine's lower section
• Stainless steel mounting plate positioned beneath the guard for a strong anchor and durable attachment
• Plastic rails at the bottom of the plate covering the screw heads to protect the screws and reduce mud build-up

Practicality and Features

• Design extending forward to protect the oil filter and oil cooler during obstacle crossings
• Plastic rails designed to facilitate sliding over stones, rocks, and stumps to reduce snagging in off-road conditions
• Design keeping the underside of the bike clear to avoid obstructing space beneath the motorcycle
