An electric relay designed to stabilise the flashing rhythm and provide a uniform and intense blink, especially when switching to LED indicators. It is designed to intervene on the indicator circuit to correct an inappropriate flashing rhythm.

Usage and Performance

• On motorcycles equipped with a bimetallic relay, the flashing frequency depends on the amperage, which helps diagnose the source of an abnormal rhythm
• When switching to LED indicators, two solutions are offered to balance the frequency: either adding resistors in parallel or replacing the relay
• For balancing with resistors, use resistor ref. 4298O if all four indicators are replaced and ref. 5873O if only two indicators are replaced; a connection diagram is provided with the resistors
• Note that using resistors may prevent the proper functioning of the hazards on most models
