Features

JIMS installation tool designed to fit fork seals of 49 mm and dirt covers directly into the lower leg bore. Primarily designed for Harley‑Davidson models (excluding inverted forks), this tool facilitates maintenance and refurbishment operations in the workshop, limiting shocks and ensuring proper positioning of the seal during installation.

Manufacturer reference: 2049
Brand: JIMS
Application: Fork / Dust cover
Diameter: for 49 mm seals
Design: two-piece for easier application and adaptation
Finish: blue
Packaging: each

Practical for mechanics and biker DIYers, this seal installer limits the risk of damaging the lips and groove of the seal during installation. Examples of compatible models: Harley‑Davidson FXDLS 1800 (Low Rider S), FXDWG 1690 (Wide Glide) and FXDL 1690 (Low Rider) — check compatibility before intervention. A robust tool to keep in the toolbox for fork revision operations, oil changes, and seal replacements.
