Legend Suspension AXEO for FL Touring - 1" Lowering Fork Kit
Specifically developed for Harley-Davidson FL Touring, this Legend Suspension AXEO kit lowers the original fork by one inch while maintaining road behaviour suitable for touring. The touring spring rate promotes more comfort and better chassis balance for optimal road connection, providing a lower seat height and reassuring stability for shorter riders.
- Lowering: -1" on the monotube shock cartridges (set of 2).
- Touring spring rate: springs and valving designed for comfort and stability over long distances.
- Threaded preload: preload adjustment to adapt the suspension to different rider weights and increase the adjustment range.
- Road holding: reduced front dive and better front-end traction during hard braking; more resistance to bottoming out on large bumps.
- Compatibility: to be used with original diameter front wheels and original fork tubes. Designed to work optimally with Legend rear suspensions (air or coil 12").
The kit includes two lowered monotube cartridges of 1" and two rebound springs. Not intended for 21" or 23" front wheels (alternative ref: 0414-0748). For models 1997-2001 equipped with original air forks, installation additionally requires Harley-Davidson OEM parts no. 45419-80 (x2) and 45733-48 (x2).
