Features
Moose Offroad Hard Fork Spring - Parts (manufacturer part no: 0405-1179) — fork springs designed for enduro and motocross, supplied in pairs. Made from high-quality chrome-silicon wire, these springs meet the demands of motocross/offroad suspensions thanks to precise industrial manufacturing.
- Construction: cold wound then subjected to heat treatment, tempering, and shot peening.
- Finishes: ground ends and final polishing — a step aimed at reducing internal friction.
- Traceability: part number and spring rate laser engraved on the end.
- Standard: manufactured according to DIN2095 grade 1.
- Specifications: outer diameter 43.50 mm (1.71"), length 460.00 mm (18.11").
- Packaging: sold in pairs.
The springs are pre-set and ground to length before polishing to ensure consistent geometry and easy interchangeability during fork maintenance. Designed for riders and workshops replacing original components on offroad machines.
Compatible motorcycles (examples): SHERCO SEF 300 Hamish MacDonald Replica (2025), BETA RR 480 EFI (2024), KAWASAKI KLX 450 R (2020).
