Moose Offroad Hard Fork Spring - Parts — Manufacturer's ref: 435-460-48
Fork spring sold individually, specially designed for intensive use in enduro and motocross. Made from high-quality chrome-silicon wire, each spring is cold wound and then subjected to a complete machining and heat treatment cycle for dimensional stability and resistance to repeated stresses.
- Construction: chrome-silicon wire, cold winding.
- Treatments: hardening, tempering, shot-peening, and polishing.
- Finish: ground ends, preset and ground to length before polishing for uniform performance.
- Traceability: spring rate and part number laser engraved (compliant with DIN2095 grade 1).
- Type: fork spring, sold individually.
The polished finish limits internal friction, the ground ends ensure a clean contact on the cups, and the shot-peening strengthens the surface to better withstand the repeated cycles encountered on tracks, jumps, and landings. Compatible models: SHERCO SEF 300 Hamish MacDonald Replica (2025), BETA RR 480 EFI (2024), KAWASAKI KLX 450 R (2020).
