Progressive - Black by Touratech: progressive fork springs designed to improve the handling of the Yamaha XT660R (from 2004 onwards). These springs, made of steel and black in colour, maintain the standard suspension height while providing a more linear response and increased reserves at the end of the stroke, useful for loaded trips or varied routes.
Manufactured in Europe by the Dutch chassis specialist Hyperpro, these components fit at the front and come with an installation manual, the recommended oil for the fork, and a grip paste for the fork tubes. They have ABE approval.
- Mounting location: front
- Material: steel
- Height: standard
- Approval: ABE
- Colour: black
Important: for balanced chassis behaviour, both the front and rear of the motorcycle must be adapted together. Recommended components for the rear of the Yamaha XT660R include an Öhlins Basicline shock absorber (ref. 01-046-0302-0) or the Touratech replacement spring (ref. 01-046-5839-0). If only one component is replaced, the handling may not be optimal.
