Product details :

Features

Progressive - Black from Touratech: progressive fork springs specifically designed for the BMW R80GS (88-97). Made from steel and finished in black, these springs manufactured in Europe by the specialist Hyperpro provide a more refined riding behaviour, allowing the fork to be adjusted according to the needs of a trip or trail use.

Compatibility: fits only the BMW R80GS (1988-1997).
Installation: front (fork).
Height: standard suspension height.
Approval: ABE included.
Material & finish: steel, black colour.

These springs provide sharper fork response and increased reserves in limit zones, while allowing for finer chassis adjustments based on load and riding style. They come with a detailed installation manual, the appropriate oil for the fork, and a paste designed to improve the interface of the plunging tubes during installation.

Chassis note: for optimal behaviour, adjust the rear accordingly. Touratech recommends using a compatible rear component (e.g. rear spring-shock for BMW R80GS Level1 reference 01-058-0005-0 or Level2 reference 01-058-0007-0). If only one element of the train is replaced, the riding behaviour may remain unbalanced.
