TRW Friction Plate (ref. MCC440-8) — Clutch disc kit designed for sporty riders and demanding riding conditions. These grey friction plates are made from a blend of selected materials to provide superior thermal stability and longevity compared to standard linings. Ideal for both road and track use, they limit compressibility to reduce the risk of slipping even during high revs and heavy loads.

• Manufacturer reference: MCC440-8
• Brand: TRW
• Type: Clutch friction plates (kit)
• Colour / finish: Grey
• Usage: Sport / Racing, suitable for high torque and rev situations

These discs prioritise heat resistance and delayed wear thanks to an optimised combination of raw materials. The low compressibility of the linings limits clutch slip under heavy load, allowing for a more direct engagement and torque transmission. Important note: some fully synthetic oils may increase the risk of slipping with lined discs; check oil/clutch compatibility during maintenance.

Common compatibilities: YAMAHA YZF-R1 1000 (RN09, RN04, RN01). For optimal installation and adjustment, we recommend a check by a professional or in a workshop.
