Features

TRW Friction Plate – Ref. MCC800-5

Replace worn clutch discs with this TRW friction plate kit, designed for Vintage/Classic and Road/Touring universes. The linings used offer low compressibility for a positive engagement and a reduced risk of slipping during sustained acceleration or high torque. The friction material is optimised for better heat resistance and superior longevity compared to standard linings, ensuring consistent performance on the road as well as during intensive use.

This kit is particularly well-suited for large classic twins where clutch feel and thermal resistance are important. Compatibility examples: Harley-Davidson FXSB 1340 Low Rider (1984), FXRT 1340 Sport Glide (1984), FXWG 1340 Wide Glide (1983).

Important note: some synthetic oils may increase the risk of slipping with lined discs. To preserve the performance and lifespan of the clutch, follow the manufacturer's recommendations regarding oil and the break-in procedure.
