TRW Friction Plate – Manufacturer Ref. MCC447-9
Friction plate designed for the clutch of customs and touring bikes, ideal for touring riders seeking reliability over long distances. This TRW lining combines selected raw materials to provide better heat resistance and increased longevity compared to standard components.

Usage: Touring / Road, suitable for high-torque machines

The discs exhibit very low compressibility: under high stress conditions (high speeds or high torque), the lining limits clutch slippage and maintains a firm feel at the lever. The manufacturing process aims to optimise heat resistance to reduce progressive wear during intensive or prolonged use.

Common Compatibilities: YAMAHA XV 1700 Road Star Warrior (2005), YAMAHA XV 1600 A Wild Star Silverado (2004), YAMAHA XV 1600 A Wild Star (2004).

Important: NOTE: some synthetic oils increase the likelihood of clutch slippage with lined discs. Please follow manufacturer recommendations for oil selection and clutch adjustment.
