The TOURMAX enrichment pump repair kit (ref. ACV-201) is designed to restore the functioning of the deceleration pump on the relevant Yamaha machines. The enrichment pump closes the air passage at idle and instantly enriches the mixture when the throttle is closed, thereby limiting detonations and backfires related to a mixture that is too lean.
