ATHENA Top-End Gasket Kit (Manufacturer part number: P400485600159): a kit designed for the refurbishment of the top end. ATHENA, a recognized brand in the world of thermal units, offers here a solution aimed at restoring the seal between the cylinder head and cylinder during engine service.
- Ready-to-use top-end gasket kit
- Intended for refurbishment and restoration of the top end
- Essential: replace gaskets after any removal of the cylinder head
This kit is aimed at motorcyclists who wish to restore their engine to original configuration after disassembly: replacement of gasket surfaces, cylinder head gaskets, base gaskets, or other sealing elements as per assembly. The kit allows for the restoration of new sealing surfaces, a crucial condition to prevent oil or coolant leaks and to maintain cylinder compression.
Workshop tips: carefully clean the gasket surfaces, check the flatness of the cylinder head, and adhere to the manufacturer's torque specifications and tightening sequences during reassembly. If you have any doubts about compatibility or the completeness of the included parts, consult your workshop manual or a technician.
