Magnum Shielding Cable Kit – Manufacturer ref. 589021

Designed for "ape hanger" handlebars and 2" risers, this Magnum XR cable kit includes everything needed to replace or install a new control on a touring motorcycle. The set includes throttle and idle cables (or pre-wired throttle-by-wire extensions), clutch cable or hydraulic line, XR DOT brake lines, copper washers, fasteners, and fully finished wiring extensions for indicators and switchgear. The fittings are polished before plating for a neat finish and clean assembly.

The brake lines use a thick stainless steel braid protected by an abrasion-resistant nylon sleeve, compliant with DOT FMVSS-106 specifications, with -3 AN fittings and fully brazed collectors for a close-to-original fit. All cables are developed for low effort operation, maximum efficiency, and meet or exceed OE standards for fit, construction, and durability.
