Race Series® Short Stroke Hydraulic Lifters (Feuling Parts) — Designed for demanding installations equipped with high-lift camshafts and high-pressure valve springs. These short-stroke lifters provide optimised valve response while maintaining quiet operation suitable for both road and track.

• Reduced total stroke: 0.115" compared to 0.200" for a standard lifter — reducing the amount of oil required in the lifter.
• Recommended adjustment: preload of 0.065" to 0.070"; thermal expansion places the service preload at approximately half of the stroke.
• Robust construction: machined steel body, high-chrome steel shaft, and roller bearing with precision needles to minimise friction and extend lifespan.
• High-flow disc check valve and stem seat designed for high cam lifts.
• Compatible with Feuling® HP+® / Race Series® pumps; recommended for engines with seat pressure above 185 lb (84 kg) and for use with a high-flow oil pump.
• Developed and tested on Spin-Tron bench, validated on track. Made in the USA.

Feuling recommends manually filling each lifter before installation (ATF oil in a sprayer is advised) to eliminate air and ensure optimal start-up. Manufacturer reference: 4052ST. Particularly suitable for Vintage/Classic, Touring, Trail/Adventure, Roadster, and Sport preparations — e.g. Harley FXDLS 1800, Buell 1190 Black Lightning, Buell XB12XT Ulysses.
