The 165 main jet allows for adjusting the richness during acceleration and at full load. Essential when changing altitude, installing an exhaust, or modifying the carburation, it is used to achieve a precise mixture adjustment. Installation and removal are generally done using an appropriate screwdriver after possibly draining the carburetor.
Practical tips: work in small steps during re-jetting, check the appearance of the spark plugs and the reactions during acceleration to refine the choice of the jet. If you are unsure about compatibility with your carburetor, consult a workshop or the manufacturer's documentation before proceeding.
