The KEIHIN 82 jet is a replacement part designed for riders looking to fine-tune the carburation of their machine. Designed for carburetors, this jet features a size of "82," which corresponds to the fuel passage diameter and allows for the adjustment of the air/fuel mixture during tuning.
Brand: KEIHIN
Category: Jet
Manufacturer reference:99101-393-0820
Used during mixture adjustments or engine modifications (intake, exhaust, filter changes), this jet facilitates the adjustment of the main jet to achieve a more consistent engine behavior across the intended usage range. It directly replaces compatible Keihin carburetors or other models that accept standard-sized jets.
Practical tips: carefully remove the jet, clean the well with compressed air or a suitable carburetor cleaner, and replace the jet while respecting the initial settings for gradual fine-tuning. Keep the old jet in case a return to the original configuration is needed.
A simple yet essential part for any carburetor adjustment, the KEIHIN 82 jet is a must-have in the toolkit of any DIY rider looking to optimize their carburation without improvisation.
