This size 85 jet, designed for Keihin carburetors, is the component that regulates the amount of fuel delivered to the main circuit. A simple yet crucial part, it directly affects the nature of the air-fuel mixture and the engine response under full load.
Usage: replacement or adjustment of carburation to adapt the main jet.
Compatibility: designed for KEIHIN carburetors — check the reference and the vehicle manufacturer's documentation before installation.
Condition: essential inspection and cleaning during replacement (deposits, micro-impurities can distort the dosage).
Practical tips for motorcyclists: proceed with disassembly using appropriate tools and work on a clean surface to avoid contamination. After replacement, conduct gradual road tests and adjust if necessary to achieve stable operation at idle and under load. If in doubt about the choice of jet or carburation adjustment, consult a qualified workshop or refer to your machine's workshop manual.
