ALPINESTARS presents its TECH-AIR 10 RACE SYSTEM motorcycle airbag suit, a slim, self-contained portable airbag offering unrivalled body protection, dedicated to the track.

Simply zip up the front and fasten the seatbelt to activate the Airbag system, and you're ready to roll
Continuous improvement of the intelligent accident detection algorithm via firmware updates with the Tech-Air application
Can be worn under a jacket or overalls

Protections

Designed to protect the shoulders, chest, back, and hips of a motorcyclist, it provides the most comprehensive coverage of all airbags currently available
The airbag system comes with an active electronic system featuring 12 sensors and an accident detection algorithm that leverages AI to accurately monitor when to deploy the airbag in the event of a collision
The impact absorption when wearing the airbag results in a reduction of impact force by up to 95% compared to a passive protector
CE certified level 2 for the chest and back
Upon detecting a crash situation, a protective airbag is deployed, offering unparalleled protection to the rider with a maximum inflation time of 40 ms

Reconditioning

Actions after airbag deployment:

After each activation, the system must be checked by an Alpinestars Tech-Air® authorised service centre.
The Tech-Air® 10 system is certified for up to 3 deployments.

If the inflation test is successful: replace the gas cartridges only.
If the test is failed: replace the gas cartridges and the airbag.
After the 3rd deployment: full replacement mandatory (cartridges + airbag).

The pluses "

There is a dedicated area on the inner belt of the system that serves as a charging base for the wireless LED display (at least 20 hours of operation)
The system is equipped with a USB charger and a magnetic USB Type-C cable that allows for quick, easy, and convenient charging
The wireless LED display can be moved to the rider's arm or the motorcycle for easy monitoring of the system's status
Bluetooth connectivity to the Tech-Air app provides the operational status of the Airbag system, battery status, and MyRide trip information
Multiple riding modes available: RACE, STREET
Automatic airbag activation at speeds exceeding approximately 60 km/h for at least 10 seconds in RACE mode
Total weight of the airbag in size M: 2.3kg
The base layer is hand washable
