Short Sump Plug FEULING PARTS – Manufacturer Ref: 3116

Specifically designed for engine sumps where space and the positioning of the drain passage are critical, this short sump plug reduces the height of the plug to 0.265" compared to the original 0.465". Its geometry prevents obstruction of the internal suction port of the sump and allows for full opening of the cross drain channel, thus facilitating maximum oil suction by the pump.

• Function: prevents obstruction of the internal suction port and ensures free passage of the cross drain.

• Machining: compatible with variations in drilling and tapping of sumps; the passage may differ depending on the original machining.
• Technical Note: on Twin Cam engines, the cross recovery hole is a machined drilling, consistently positioned on each sump.
