PBR Standard Steel Sprocket 2198 - 525 (Manufacturer part number: 2198 16 18NC) — a drive component designed for demanding riders who want reliable transmission on the road. Designed and machined by PBR, this sprocket benefits from the experience gained in competition and is intended for chain setups with a pitch of 525, standard version.
The 18NCD5 alloy offers good resistance to corrosion and abrasion, qualities appreciated for a part exposed to the elements and torque stresses. The sprocket is manufactured according to demanding processes to ensure precise tooth geometry and consistent engagement with the crown and chain — key elements for smooth and jerk-free transmission.
Ideal for roadsters and compatible with large sport touring bikes, this sprocket is particularly suited for models such as the BMW S 1000 XR, BMW M 1000 XR, and BMW M 1000 RR (2025 model year, 1000 cc). Replace the worn part with a PBR manufacturer reference to regain controlled chain behavior and a serene road holding.
