The VERTEX Replica forged piston (manufacturer reference 23455A) is designed for motocross riders seeking a reliable engine part for their training and race days. Made from aluminum, it retains the original geometry with standard compression and an oversize letter A, to fit overbored engines.

Designed to withstand the demands of off-road conditions, this piston is suitable for engine builds where reliability and dimensional stability are essential. It is particularly recommended for Honda CRF 450 R (PE05) models from 2010 to 2012, but may also fit other applications requiring an oversize A and these bore dimensions.

Before installation, check the bore, piston/cylinder clearance, and replace the ring if necessary (ref. 271360). For proper assembly, follow the manufacturer's recommendations regarding honing, tolerances, and timing. Manufacturer reference: 23455A.
