Features

The VERTEX Replica forged piston (manufacturer reference 23455A) is designed for motocross riders seeking a reliable engine part for their training and race days. Made from aluminium, it retains the original geometry with standard compression and an oversize letter A, to fit re-bored engines.

Designed to withstand the demands of off-road use, this piston fits into engine preparations where reliability and dimensional stability are essential. It is particularly suited for Honda CRF 450 R models (PE05) from the 2010 to 2012 vintages, but may also be suitable for other applications requiring an oversize A and these bore dimensions.

Before installation, check the bore, piston/cylinder clearance and replace the ring if necessary (ref. 271360). For correct assembly, follow the manufacturer's recommendations regarding honing, tolerances, and timing. Manufacturer reference: 23455A.
