Features

VERTEX PISTON PIN 16 x 47.5 (ref. 715242S)

Non-chromed piston pin intended for 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines. Designed to replace the original pin on pistons that accept a diameter of 16 mm and a length of 47.5 mm, this pin adheres to the specifications indicated by its designation for precise installation.

Usage: piston pin for 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines
Dimensions: Ø 16 mm x 47.5 mm
Finish: non-chromed (check condition and lubricate before installation)
Brand: VERTEX – manufacturer reference 715242S

Ideal for engine refurbishment operations or restoring a worn piston, this pin replaces the original pin when the dimensions match. Before installation, check the condition of the circlips, the fit in the piston skirt, and the axial play on the small piston pin. Proper lubrication and a visual check of the alignment will minimize the risk of premature wear.

Note: do not neglect to check tolerances and compatibility with the piston and connecting rod; in case of doubt, compare the dimensions with the original part or consult a mechanic.
