Hard Part Steering Protection for BMW R1250GS Adventure/ R1200GS Adventure (LC), black by Touratech

The Hard Part steering protection is designed to safeguard the fork crown and minimise damage in the event of a fall. Made from laser-cut stainless steel combined with shock-absorbing plastic components and a rubber pad to absorb impacts. The compact design is tailored to fit the intended configurations without cluttering the handlebars.

Design and Materials

• Laser-cut stainless steel providing a rigid structure to better withstand forces during impacts
• Durable plastic components placed between the structure and the motorcycle to absorb shocks and reduce impact transfer
• Integrated rubber pad to absorb a small distance of impact and limit shocks transmitted to the fork crown
• Plastic coating on the stainless steel part to reduce metal-to-metal contact and protect the finish

Practicality and Features

• Steering is barely limited to maintain manoeuvrability during manoeuvres and in traffic
• Supplied with adhesive pads, screws, and nuts for complete installation without additional parts

Usage and Performance

• Recommended for the special R 1200 GS "Rallye" model equipped with sport suspension to ensure a proper fit for this configuration
• Recommended for the special R 1250 GS "HP" model equipped with sport suspension to guarantee compatibility with this variant
• Not suitable for the original BMW lowered suspension; it is advised to use reference 01-045-5295-0 in this case
