Features

Hepco & Becker Basic (ref. 516012-5) — universal 5-hole tank ring, designed to securely attach a tank bag to a metal tank. Compact and simple, this BASIC ring allows for reliable mechanical attachment without additional tools and provides free access to the fuel cap once installed.

Contents: BASIC tank ring + counter ring shaped to fit the tank and handlebar angle.
System: audible mechanical locking — the Hepco & Becker bag clips onto the ring and is unlocked via the front securing strap.
Attachment: universal 5-hole version (suitable for metal tanks) — check compatibility by model in the "My bike" section or the product checklist.
Usage limits: recommended payload of approximately 3 kg in the bag; maximum advised speed with bag mounted: 130 km/h (refer to the motorcycle manufacturer's guidelines).

Difference with the Lock-it system: the BASIC ring operates solely through mechanical locking. The attachment parts (counter ring and bag plate) must belong to the same system — Lock-it and BASIC are not interchangeable.

Ideal for riders looking for a simple, robust, and easy-to-handle solution to attach a Hepco & Becker tank bag to their machine.
