Hepco & Becker — BASIC Tank Ring (black)

Designed to securely attach a Hepco & Becker tank bag to the BMW F 800 GS (2024-), this BASIC ring offers a simple and reliable solution for connecting luggage and motorcycle. The delivery includes the tank ring and an adjustable counter-support, which can be screwed in according to the shape of the tank and the angle of the handlebars. The tank cap remains accessible once the ring is installed, for practical use while riding.

• Robust mechanical locking: audible insertion and lock for clear and secure retention.
• Convenient unlocking: pull tab at the front of the bag, to be pulled forward to release the bag.
• Road-appropriate hold: recommended use up to 130 km/h and a payload of approximately 3 kg in the bag.
• Supplied with a modular counter-support for good positioning on the tank.
• In Germany, no ABE required for tank bags; always check manufacturer recommendations.

Important note: the BASIC ring differs from the Lock‑it system by the absence of magnetic centring assistance. The BASIC and Lock‑it counter-supports are not compatible with each other — the ring and counter-bracket must belong to the same system.
