Features

Stainless steel woven mesh ACOUSTA-FIL, designed to protect the absorbent core of motorcycle baffles and silencers. This fine mesh fabric prevents rock wool from being sucked through the holes of the baffle, limiting material loss and extending the lifespan of the original assembly. Made from stainless steel, it is suitable for the hot environments of exhaust systems.

Material: stainless steel, fine woven mesh
Thermal resistance: up to 800 °C
Dimensions: 500 x 220 mm (length x width)
Usage: protection of rock wool in baffles and silencers — refurbishment and maintenance

Product designed for DIY motorcyclists and workshops that perform silencer refurbishment: the mesh is positioned between the baffle and the absorbent to reduce fiber dispersion while withstanding the high temperatures generated by the exhaust. It does not alter the nature of the absorbent but protects its mechanical integrity.
