Features

EBC Series X Brake Disc (manufacturer part no. MD1194X)

Designed for roadster and sports machines, the EBC Series X brake disc combines an aluminium alloy carrier and a stainless steel braking surface to provide a complete, robust, and lightweight floating solution. Its finish available in black or silver gives a sleek look while remaining functional on modern models.

Type: Complete floating round disc
Materials: aluminium carrier + stainless steel surface
Floating system: patented S-Drive button (square rivets housed in square pockets) allowing the surface to expand and contract under heat without binding
Manufacturing: manual assembly and inspection
Finish: black or silver

The floating concept limits thermal stresses between the surface and the bracket, and the reduction of unsprung mass can enhance lever feel for more precise handling. Intended for demanding road riders as well as sport riders, this disc is compatible with many models in the Street segment.

Common applications: Roadster, Sport/Racing. Examples of compatible motorcycles: HONDA CB 650 R ABS Neo Sports Cafe (2022–2023), HONDA CBR 650 R ABS (2022).
