The Buffalo Big black saddlebags represent the combination of traditional leather and motorcycle luggage designed for travel. Designed by Hepco & Becker to be mounted on tubular luggage racks, these saddlebags offer a sleek and retro look that fits roadsters, customs, and trails equipped with a compatible support.
- Material: full-grain cowhide leather (3–4 mm), tanning compliant with European environmental standards.
- Construction: tear-resistant seams, chrome-plated brass rivets, and reinforced concealed moulded parts for stability and durability.
- Reinforced back in plastic to maintain shape against the friction of the tubular support.
- Security: lock and cylinder for the included lid; lockable pockets available.
- Recommended payload: 5–7 kg per bag (refer to the specific instructions for the support and the motorcycle manufacturer).
- Recommended accessories: inner bag and rain cover to protect the contents.
Note on installation: a model-specific tubular leather bag support is required (not included). Three mounting options are available: fixed mounting (drilling), quick-release self-assembly (drilling + pop rivets), or factory mounting by Hepco & Becker. After installing the fastening systems, the bag is adapted to the associated support and is generally no longer interchangeable without further modification.
