R-Racer Screen by Puig

The R-Racer screen is a replacement fairing component designed for sports motorcycles, aimed at enhancing the aerodynamic protection of the rider. It is made from high-strength 3 mm acrylic with a rounded edge finish to minimise sharp edges. Its elevated shape reduces turbulence around the helmet and shoulders for improved riding comfort.

Design and Materials

• High-strength 3 mm acrylic material providing a durable and resilient screen to limit wear from exposure
• Rounded edge finish >2 mm reducing the risk of sharp edges during handling
• UV treatment protecting clarity against sunlight to maintain visibility
• Quality control via artificial vision system ensuring a screen delivered in perfect condition

Practicality and Features

• 85 mm elevation compared to the original to deflect wind that may impact the helmet and shoulders
• Installation without additional parts allowing for a simple and direct replacement
• Designed for original fairing to facilitate positioning and alignment during installation

Usage and Performance

• Aerodynamic profile developed and tested in a virtual wind tunnel to enhance airflow and stability
• Optimised upper frontal area to reduce turbulence experienced by the rider

Advantages

• Dimensions 385 x 305 mm to be checked before installation to confirm fit on your fairing
• Item weight 485 g facilitating handling during installation
• Certifications ABE KBA 38182 VS3 and DOT 1312 to be considered for road use
• Designed and manufactured in Barcelona following a controlled industrial process to ensure manufacturing traceability
