This set is ideal for engine maintenance or upper engine work: replacing worn rings helps limit compression losses and oil leaks between the piston and cylinder. Before installation, check the piston diameter and the condition of the cylinder (ovalization, scratches) and adhere to the axial and circumferential clearance recommended by the manufacturer. For a clean installation, slightly preheat the piston, lubricate properly, and use the appropriate tools.
