Manufacturer reference: C16-0156AB — Brand: DRAG SPECIALTIES SHOCKS
Gas-charged monotube rear shocks designed for Vintage/Classic style machines. Steel body, hard chrome-plated shafts, and internal reservoir ensure robust construction. The progressive dual-rate springs and adjustable preload allow you to tailor the rear end behaviour according to your riding style and the load carried.
- Extended length: 305 mm (12.00"). Height adjustable +/- 1/2" from the stated measurement.
- Finish: black anodised — black springs and ends for a discreet and uniform appearance.
- Materials: aluminium and steel; damping method: gas-charged (nitrogen).
- Mounting: uses existing mounting hardware. OE top caps are not compatible.
- Notes: shorter versions reduce travel and may affect handling and ground clearance. Not compatible with rear lowering kits. Some models equipped with OEM remote shocks may require specific mounting.
Common compatibility: Harley-Davidson Dyna (FXDLS, FXDWG, FXDL) from around 2017. These shocks are aimed at riders looking for a solid, classic-looking solution to control rear behaviour while maintaining vintage aesthetics.
