Features
Manufacturer reference: C16-0157AB — DRAG SPECIALTIES SHOCKS, designed for Vintage/Classic universes. These gas-charged monotube shocks offer a robust and adjustable solution to enhance the responsiveness of your Dyna without sacrificing the traditional look.
- Construction: nitrogen-charged monotube steel body with hard chrome plated rods; internal reservoir for controlled dimensions.
- Suspension: progressive dual-rate springs, adjustable spring preload to tailor handling to load and riding style.
- Adjustments: height adjustment ±1/2" (±12.7 mm) from the specified measurement; extended length 330 mm (13.00").
- Finish: black anodised with black springs and end caps for a discreet and vintage aesthetic.
- Materials: steel/aluminium combination, gas-charged damping.
Installs with existing mounting hardware in most cases. Note: original upper covers are not compatible and these shocks are not suitable for rear lowering kits. Shorter than original models reduce travel, which may affect handling and ground clearance — check wheel arch and space around the swingarm/header before purchase. On some machines equipped with OEM remote shocks, specific mounting may be required.
Common compatibilities: Harley-Davidson FXDLS 1800 Low Rider S (2017), FXDWG 1690 Wide Glide (2017) and FXDL 1690 Low Rider (2017).
