DRAG SPECIALTIES SHOCKS - Manufacturer's ref: C16-0160HB
Gas-charged monotube shocks, black finish, designed for the touring range. These heavy-duty steel components feature a nitrogen-charged body and hard chrome-plated shafts, combined with progressive dual-rate springs for a smooth and comfortable ride over long distances.
- Type: Shocks with springs, heavy duty, internal reservoir.
- Adjustments: Adjustable spring preload; height adjustable ± 1/2" from stated size.
- Dimensions: extended length 279.40 mm (11.00").
- Finish: black (black body and springs, black eyelets).
- Material: steel; damping method: gas-charged.
- Mounting: uses existing mounting hardware; however, OEM shock upper covers are not compatible.
Installation considerations: shocks shorter than OE reduce travel and may affect handling and ground clearance (risk of scraping in corners). Before purchasing, check that the wheel arch and space around the swingarm/axle will not be compromised by a different length. Not compatible with rear lowering kits; some models equipped with OEM offset shocks may require specific adaptation.
Main applications: ideal for recent Harley-Davidson touring models (e.g. Road King Special, Road Glide Limited, Ultra Glide Limited).
