Features
DRAG SPECIALTIES SHOCKS C16-0163H Shock Absorber, designed for touring bikes that require a robust and adjustable suspension. Nitrogen-charged steel monotube body with hard chrome plated rods, progressive dual-rate springs, and adjustable preload: the whole assembly aims to provide controlled response for long rides and heavy loads.
- Type: Gas monotube shock absorber (gas charged), internal reservoir
- Finish: Black | Chrome (black versions include black springs and end fittings/eyelets)
- Duty: Heavy, material: steel
- Adjustments: Adjustable spring preload; height adjustable ± 1/2" from stated size
- Extended length: 330 mm (13.00")
- Mounting: Uses existing mounting hardware
Points to consider before installation: shocks shorter than OEM length reduce travel and may affect handling. Lowering the bike decreases ground clearance (especially in corners). Confirm wheel clearance and ensure no contact between swingarm/axle/exhaust will occur if the length differs from stock. OE upper covers are not compatible. Not compatible with rear lowering kits; some models equipped with OEM offset shocks may require specific mounting.
Recommended use: Touring — suitable for several large Harley-Davidson models (e.g. Road King Special FLHRXS 2025, Road Glide Limited FLTRK 2024, Ultra Limited FLHTK 2024).
