Series 412 Shock Absorber with Covers - Progressive Suspension (Ref. 412-4042B)
Designed for Harley and retro/touring customs, the Series 412 shock absorber focuses on robustness and simplicity. Its treated steel body, gas-filled, and internal reservoir make it a compact and reliable solution to enhance the stance and comfort of your machine without unnecessary complexity. Subtle black finish for a discreet look on Dyna and classic touring bikes.
- Extended length: 305 mm (12.00")
- Adjustment: 5-position cam preload to adapt the ride height and firmness according to load and riding style
- Damping method: gas-charged, internal reservoir
- Material: steel – black finish
- Usage: standard function, suitable for vintage/classic and touring applications
Some models in the series are road approved: check the latest certificate for compliance. Before installation, check clearances and travel (modifications may be necessary on certain XL models '86-'15, particularly around the chain/belt guard). For frequent heavy use, prefer the Heavy Duty variants recommended by the manufacturer.
