The Series 412 (without covers) shock absorbers from Progressive Suspension offer a robust and economical solution for road/touring motorcycles, designed for many Harley models. Made of steel with a gas-charged damping system and an internal reservoir, they feature a black finish and a "heavy-duty" duty to better withstand heavy usage.

Installation and usage tips: these shock absorbers may slightly alter the rake angle and steering behaviour if their length differs from the OEM (longer = sharper steering, shorter = slightly slower steering). For XL models '86-'15, spacing or modification of the chain/belt guard may be necessary to ensure clearance. "Heavy Duty" versions are recommended for frequent use at loads close to the manufacturer's capacity (>50% of the time). Before purchase, check road approval and applicable certificates as well as the travel to avoid any contact with the swingarm/exhaust/chain.
