Series 412 Shock Absorber without Covers – Progressive Suspension (ref. 412-4036C)

Designed for Harley and custom cruisers, this Series 412 shock absorber offers a robust and economical solution to replace or enhance the rear end of your machine. Steel body, gas-charged system, and internal reservoir for consistent performance; 5-position cam preload adjustment to modify height and stiffness according to your load and riding style.

The 412 comes in various styles (chrome or black covers, matching springs and ends); this reference is supplied without covers. A shock absorber that is slightly longer or shorter than the original can alter the rake angle and handling: sharper if longer, a bit slower if shorter. Check the travel and clearances (swingarm/exhaust, chain/belt guard, tyre) before installation.

Note: some or all shocks in this series may be road approved — consult the most recent certificate for the status of approvals. For frequent use at high loads, prefer the Heavy Duty versions.
