Designed with an internal reservoir and a 5-position cam preload adjustment, it allows for quick load handling adjustments via the spring. Installation points to note: a shock absorber that is slightly longer or shorter than the OEM may alter the rake angle and thus the responsiveness of the steering. On certain XL models ('86–'15), it may be necessary to adjust or space the chain/belt guard to ensure clearance. For heavy-duty use (near or at the manufacturer's maximum load more than 50% of the time), prefer the recommended Heavy Duty applications.
