Front - EXTREME 2 / Plug & Travel / DDA - White from Touratech is a front shock absorber designed to equip BMW R1200GS and R1250GS (2013-2024) models with the BMW DDC Autolevelling system. Designed for off-road adventures and heavy travel, it simply replaces the BMW DDC unit while retaining the use of handlebar controls and integration with the original electronics.

The DDA system (high-performance valve developed and patented by Tractive) allows for quick adjustment of damping according to driving situations. The shock absorber body incorporates a larger diameter piston and an increased oil volume for better performance during prolonged use, limits overheating, and stabilises damping action over long stages and varied terrains.
Installation advice: Touratech recommends simultaneous replacement of the front and rear units to fully utilise the suspension adjustment range. If you modify the tank capacity or add luggage supports, a spring with a higher coefficient may be suggested to adjust the preload.
