Touratech EXTREME 2 - Black / Yellow: rear shock absorber for demanding raids and trails

Designed for riders who push their trail beyond asphalt, the EXTREME 2 places longevity and precision at the heart of the rear suspension. Its design reduces friction thanks to low-friction piston bands and 46 mm pistons, providing a sharper suspension response and controlled wear over multiple seasons of demanding use.

The PDS (progressive damping system) incorporates a new hydraulic buffer to limit bottoming out in off-road conditions. A larger oil reservoir and improved thermal dissipation help to limit viscosity variations of the oil under heavy loads, allowing for stable performance during long stages at high loads.

Adjustable and adaptable to the rider: the compression features a wide range for both low and high speeds to fine-tune the damping according to your style (twisty roads, tracks, or raids). The spring preload is mechanically adjustable — the version has been lightened by omitting hydraulic preload to save weight. The base configuration is suitable for riders up to 100 kg (including luggage); customizations are possible.
