EXTREME (-25 mm) - Black - Yellow by Touratech: rear shock absorber specifically calibrated to lower the Ducati DesertX by 25 mm. Designed for touring riders, it maintains a suitable behaviour for touring and road use even when loaded, while remaining ready to tackle demanding conditions.

• Height reduction: -25 mm at the seat level, to facilitate ground reach.
• PDS protection: hydraulic system with a secondary piston that limits shock breakage at the end of the stroke.
• Original setting: specifically configured for the Ducati DesertX, ready to use.
• Recommended maximum load: designed for a rider up to 100 kg, including luggage.
• ABE approval: supplied with the necessary road approval.
• Colour: distinctive yellow-black finish.

The spring rate and damping are designed to provide progressive behaviour: comfortable for regular use, the PDS engages in the last part of the travel to protect the mechanics in case of overload or severe pressure. If you modify the tank capacity or add transport capacity, Touratech offers spring adaptation (higher stiffness) via the chassis control form.

Usage tips: after lowering, systematically adjust the front/rear stance. Installing a short side stand and/or a short centre stand is recommended for safe parking. Do not push the fork leg towards the tightening, as this significantly degrades the riding behaviour.
