The Touratech EXTREME shock absorber lowers the seat of your Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin by 25 mm to facilitate ground contact without compromising touring use. Designed and configured specifically for the CRF1100L (from 2020 onwards), it maintains road handling suitable for both road and travel, even with varying loads.

• Lowering: -25 mm, ready to install.
• PDS Protection: hydraulic system with a secondary piston limiting shock breakage at full extension.
• Usage: touring/road oriented with luggage and changing conditions.
• Approval: ABE included.
• Colour: white — rear mounting.
• Adjustment: configured for a rider up to 100 kg (including luggage).

Practical notes: for optimal behaviour, adjust both front and rear suspensions simultaneously — replacing a single component can alter handling. Avoid raising the fork sliders in the clamps (this severely affects road handling). After lowering, the use of a short side stand or a short centre stand is recommended.
