Touratech EXTREME (-25 mm) - White: rear shock absorber specifically configured for the Honda CRF1000L Adventure Sports (from 2018). Designed to lower the seat height by 25 mm, it provides confidence in ground contact without compromising the ability to carry luggage during road and touring trips.

The EXTREME model incorporates PDS (hydraulic protection against shock breakage): a second damping piston that engages at the end of the stroke to limit the mechanical overload on the spring. The damping is linked to the stroke, offering a progressive response — factory set for a total load of rider + luggage of approximately 100 kg, with the possibility of adjustment upon request.

Practical notes: the basic setting aims for 100 kg (rider + luggage). For significantly higher loads, Touratech offers a stiffer spring after chassis inspection. If you replace a single suspension component, it is essential to adjust both the front and rear to maintain consistent handling. We advise against excessively increasing the fork preload. After lowering, consider a short side or centre stand for good bike stability.
