EXTREME (-40 mm) - White — Rear shock absorber from Touratech designed for the Honda CRF1100L Adventure Sports (from 2020). This spring-shock absorber lowers the seat height by 40 mm while remaining suitable for heavily loaded touring use and varied routes.

Designed for travelling motorcyclists, the EXTREME features the PDS (Overflow Protection/Second Piston): a second hydraulic piston that prevents shock breakage at the end of the stroke when the motorcycle is heavily loaded or subjected to impacts. The damping is linked to the stroke: comfortable and progressive behaviour throughout most of the travel, with enhanced mechanical safety in the final part.

Practical notes: to maintain balanced handling, the front and rear must be adjusted together — replacing a single component can alter the behaviour. We advise against raising the forks in the fork clamps (this significantly degrades handling). After lowering, the use of a short side or centre stand is recommended.
