The EXTREME shock absorber (-40 mm) from Touratech in white finish is designed to lower the seat height of the Honda CRF1000L Adventure Sports (from 2018) while maintaining road handling and touring suitability. Mounted at the rear, it reduces the seat height by 40 mm and retains progressive damping thanks to a setup designed for loaded travel and variable conditions.

• Lowering: -40 mm, aimed at improving seat accessibility.
• PDS Protection: double hydraulic piston to limit the risk of shock failure at the end of the stroke.
• Configuration: base adjustment intended for a total load of rider + luggage up to 100 kg; possibility to adapt the spring for higher loads.

To maintain a balanced behaviour of the bike, it is important to adjust both the front and rear simultaneously and to avoid overly compressing the fork to the stops.
