EXTREME - Black - Yellow by Touratech is a rear shock absorber designed for the Husqvarna Norden 901 Expedition (from 2023). Built for road rides and heavily loaded expeditions, it combines a distinctive yellow-black design with an internal architecture aimed at preserving the chassis under the most demanding conditions.

The unique feature of the Extreme version lies in its PDS system: a hydraulic protection against shock breakage that uses a second piston. The damping is linked to the stroke to provide a comfortable response during regular use, while taking over at the end of the travel when the load or terrain becomes tougher. The hydraulic preload can be quickly adjusted via a knob to restore the bike's stance in a single turn, and the damping can be finely tuned on the compensation reservoir to adapt the rear end's behaviour to your riding style.
