Touratech EXTREME – Black / Yellow: the rear shock absorber designed for demanding touring riders. Designed for the Husqvarna Norden 901 (from 2022), this spring-shock absorber emphasizes chassis versatility and load safety.

Equipped with PDS (hydraulic protection against shock breakage) with a second piston, the EXTREME limits mechanical overload at the end of the stroke to prevent destructive "jolts" when the motorcycle is loaded. The damping is linked to the stroke: comfort and smooth progression during regular use, followed by PDS intervention in the last part of the stroke to preserve the rear end on difficult tracks or when heavily loaded for travel.

The hydraulic preload is easily adjustable via a knob, and the compensation reservoir allows for very fine damping adjustments to tailor the chassis to your style: fast roads, busy national routes, off-road sections, or long journeys with luggage and a passenger. Supply: ready-to-install spring-shock absorber, general approval, and installation manual. For higher transport capacities, a stiffer spring can be provided upon request: fill out the chassis control form for a custom adaptation.
